Volunteers
Petition Drives
We will need to gather a minimum of 259,213 valid signatures in order to put the initiative on the 2012 ballot. Our membership has grown from nothing to over a few thousand and still growing.
Most initiatives do not start collecting signatures until February or March of an election year but we will attempt to start our drive a little earlier than most, probably in mid January after everybody has had a chance to unwind from the holiday season. We'll keep you posted!
We need your help and commitment to achieve our goals. How? Fill out the form below and pledge to collect a certain amount of signatures. Someone from Prop 13 Arizona will contact you on getting petitions to fulfill your pledge.
How can you get involved?
Be a team captain
We need leaders around the state who have effective communication skills and willing to recruit volunteers. This can be at a county level, city level, district level, or precinct level. Not sure you possess the organizational skills to do so? No worry, we will guide you every step of the way to make you feel comfortable and successful!
Commit to acquire 15 signatures
One petition has 15 lines for registered voters to sign. Commit to filling just one petition, perhaps 5 petitions or more to help make Prop 13 Arizona a success! Need a petition for just one or two signatures? No problem we'll be glad to send you one once we start our drive in the fall. Most importantly fill out the form below and pledge to collect however many signatures you are comfortable with and somebody from Prop 13 Arizona will contact you to get you started on the road to success for simplifying and capping Arizona Property Taxes!
Volunteer from home using your computer or phone
Contact us and we can speak to you about the various functions we need help with you can do right at home. All we need to know is what your computer skills are, what programs you are familiar with such as excel, word, powerpoint, Email or simply surfing for information. Don't like the computer? that's OK we need phone people too, just let us know!
