No New Posts POINTERS FOR PRINTING YOUR OWN PETITIONS
Be sure to read the printing instructions before you begin. You’ll need legal size paper, 8½ by 14 inches. When you’re finished you should have a petition instruction sheet printed on one side only, a second page (landscape mode) with signature lines on the front and notary form on the back, and a third page that has the old constitutional language with lines drawn through it on the front and the proposed new language on the back. The lined signature page should turn like the page in a book with the notary form on the back readable as you turn the page.

No New Posts COLLECTING SIGNATURES GRASS ROOTS STYLE
You don’t have to fill all 15 signature lines on the petition. If you can only get a few signatures, that’s fine … get the page notarized and mail it to us as soon as possible. The sooner we qualify for the ballot, the better. And, we need more volunteers to collect signatures at public places.

No New Posts SPREAD THE WORD
Call 5 friends and ask them to collect signatures on their street, in their neighborhood, at their office, or next meeting. The Packet contains an Instruction Sheet to help your friends do the job right. If we each get the “easy” signatures from people we know, we will soon reach our goal.

No New Posts Citizens must stop out-of-control property taxes
Opening your property tax bill has become an anger-provoking experience of late, thanks to speculators who drove property values to record highs before leaving town. Adding to the misery, most taxing districts didn’t adjust their tax rates in order to keep your bill from going sky high. They just smiled and kept the windfall tax revenues.
